Memorial Healthcare System has just inaugurated its latest facility, the Douglas Road Emergency Room, in Pembroke Pines, marking a significant enhancement in emergency healthcare for residents of Broward and Miami-Dade counties. For over four decades, the existing 24/7 Care Center has been a crucial part of the Pembroke Pines community, with more than 800,000 patients receiving treatment in the last 15 years alone. The Douglas Road ER aims to expand upon this legacy by fulfilling the growing demands of emergency services with increased capabilities and advanced healthcare technologies.

Officially opening to the public in August 2026, the new facility is designed to deliver high-quality emergency services for both adults and children.
