Hyperscale Data Invests Over $70 Million in Michigan AI Data Center Development

Hyperscale Data's Commitment to Michigan AI Data Center

Hyperscale Data, Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS), a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) data centers supported by Bitcoin, recently announced substantial advancements in its Michigan AI data center project. As of mid-September 2026, the company has invested in excess of $70 million towards the construction and operational readiness of this facility, managed by Alliance Cloud Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary.

This investment is pivotal for Hyperscale Data, as it prepares the Michigan facility to serve a significant customer, a California-based neocloud provider. Under the terms of a Master Services Agreement (MSA) previously established, the facility is set to deliver vital AI computational capacity expected to commence operations in November 2026. The initial deployment will offer 20 megawatts (MW) of AI compute capacity, and the MSA spans a decade, with options for two additional five-year extensions.

Hyperscale expects that, over the entire potential 20-year term, the MSA can generate around $1.2 billion in revenue. Furthermore, the customer can escalate their needed capacity to a maximum of 52 MW during this period, which could ultimately elevate total revenue from this contract to over $3 billion.

For context, securing a 52 MW deployment would represent a mere fraction—less than 20%—of the Michigan Facility's overall capability of approximately 340 MW. This figure indicates that there remains a significant opportunity for additional customer engagements and infrastructure development, contingent upon securing necessary approvals and resources.

Will Horne, CEO of Hyperscale Data, articulated the company’s strategic vision, stating, "Our investment of over $70 million in ACS and the Michigan campus emphasizes our commitment to executing on our plans. This capital infusion is geared towards ensuring our facility is operational for our neocloud customer, and we have made considerable progress in acquiring essential equipment for deployment."

As operations under the MSA loom, Hyperscale Data’s immediate focus is on successfully launching services to generate cash flow, with a broader strategy aimed at enhancing the campus’s appeal through additional development avenues. This strategic direction includes potential partnerships, further customer deployments, and even the separation or public offering of ACS, depending on which options maximize shareholder value.

In addition to the immediate objectives, the company is continuously analyzing long-term strategies for the Michigan Facility, which includes potential sales or further development initiatives aimed at maximizing the facility's vast untapped potential. Hyperscale Data has stated it will keep all stakeholders informed as it reaches significant milestones in its operational journey.

In summary, with a robust infusion of capital exceeding $70 million, Hyperscale Data sets the stage for launching operations at their Michigan AI Data Center, which holds the promise of substantial revenue generation and operational success while paving the way for future expansions and investments in AI and cloud services.
