Kurazushi's New Sea Urchin Fair
Kurazushi, a popular conveyor-belt sushi chain based in Sakai City, Osaka, is excited to announce the launch of its special "New Sea Urchin Fair" starting on Friday, October 3rd. This event will feature freshly caught sea urchin dishes, including the single piece of fresh sea urchin, as well as a luxurious five-piece hand roll set. This fair is not only a celebration of seasonal seafood but also a showcase of Kurazushi's commitment to quality and freshness.
Highlights of the Sea Urchin Fair
One of the standout offerings during this fair is the
fresh sea urchin (one piece), priced at 230 yen. This particular sea urchin is caught at peak season and is characterized by its melt-in-your-mouth texture and refined aroma. Notably, this dish does not use any additives like
murasaki, which are often used to preserve the shape of the sea urchin, allowing diners to fully enjoy the rich umami flavor without any bitterness.
Alongside, the
New Sea Urchin Hand Roll Set (five pieces), priced at 1,680 yen, features fresh sea urchin elegantly arranged on a sheet of seaweed from Ariake Sea. It’s a delightful combination that emphasizes the quality of the ingredients used.
Adding to this seafood experience, Kurazushi introduces the
Hokkaido Octopus with Sea Urchin Sauce, priced at 150 yen, where the sweetness of the octopus from Hokkaido perfectly matches the rich sea urchin sauce that is free from additives. This dish is bound to become a favorite among diners.
Premium Seabass and More Delicacies
In addition to the sea urchin offerings, Kurazushi will also serve fresh
Setouchi Seabass, available for 190 yen. This dish stands out with its transparent white flesh, enhanced through careful salting and aging, resulting in an elegant flavor that is sure to impress.
The
Grilled Iberico Pork with Avocado and Cheese Sauce is another highlight, featuring the highest grade of Iberico pork, known as
Bellota. The rich flavor of the pork is complemented by a special soy-based sauce, avocado, and Kurazushi’s signature cheese mayonnaise, creating a perfect blend of textures and tastes.
Delightful Noodle Experience
Another dish returning to the menu is the
Domestic Natural Fugu Dashi Udon, priced at 550 yen, which was previously offered in a limited number of stores in February. This dish features a rich broth made from seasonal ingredients, with the delicate flavor of fugu that has been sourced from a long-established fish supplier in Shimonoseki. Served in a handmade clear broth, this udon promises a luxurious experience.
Kura Royal's New Dessert
Also making its debut is the
Emerald Muscat Parfait, priced at 800 yen, from the Kura Royal dessert brand, known for its attention to detail and visually stunning desserts. This parfait encapsulates the freshness of seasonal shine muscats, layered with muscat sorbet, grape sauce, cream, and white grape jelly, all served in an elegant spherical cup and topped with a leaf-shaped chocolate. The dessert not only looks spectacular but also offers a variety of textures with a delicious crunch from the base crumble cookie.
