Luup to Showcase Next-Gen Mobility at 'Creating the Future Mobility Street' Event

Luup, a prominent player in micro-mobility, is set to participate in an exciting upcoming event titled 'Creating the Future Mobility Street' on October 19th. This initiative, co-hosted by the New Tora Street Area Platform Council and the General Incorporated Association for Parking Measures in the Circular No. 2 District, aims to enhance awareness and education around safe mobility solutions for all ages.

On the event day, Luup will feature two engaging activities designed to attract both adults and children, promoting the safe and enjoyable use of micro-mobility devices. The event will offer a safety workshop and a traffic safety awareness booth where participants can learn about transportation rules and more, all in a fun and interactive way.

Background of the Event

Luup operates with a mission to make city spaces more accessible and user-friendly through innovative micro-mobility solutions. Currently, the company provides services such as electric kickboards and electric assist bicycles. Additionally, Luup has plans to introduce new vehicles like the 'Seated Electric Board' and the three-wheeled universal car 'Unimo' to cater to the diverse mobility needs across urban and rural areas. With pressing issues like transportation blackouts and driver shortages, Luup strives to implement a comprehensive infrastructure that supports electric and compact mobility devices.

The 'Creating the Future Mobility Street' event will serve as a platform for various stakeholders in the mobility sector to come together and create an interactive environment around the concept of future mobility. This collaborative effort involves workshops, rides, and discussions aimed at educating the community about these important transport innovations. Through this event, Luup has partnered with the renowned content creator Ryo, owner of the 'R COFFEE STAND Powered by LUUP'. This partnership leverages the café as a community touchpoint to engage with visitors and advocate for traffic safety rules involving micro-mobility.

Luup's contribution to the event will include a series of exciting programs designed to educate participants on safe practices while using mobility devices. The workshops cater to elementary school students, allowing them to learn about bicycle rules and safety in a fun and interactive setting. Also, a safety training session is open for individuals aged 16 and up, which will feature a test ride of the new 'Seated Electric Board'.

In addition to educational activities, families can enjoy delicious homemade lemonade at the 'R COFFEE STAND Powered by LUUP', made from a balanced blend of organic ingredients, appealing to both young and older visitors.
