A New Record in Profitability

In this quarter, LITEON’s net profit climbed to NT$7.4 billion, leading to an earnings per share (EPS) of NT$3.27, which reflects a 60% year-on-year growth. The remarkable sales performance is underscored by an overall consolidated revenue of NT$153.5 billion for the first nine months of 2026, representing a year-over-year increase of 26%. The gross profit for this period saw a notable rise of 36%, further enhancing LITEON’s gross margin to 25.2%. Operating profit also saw a substantial increase of 73%, with net profits hitting NT$18.3 billion.

Growth in AI Infrastructure Demand

A crucial driver of LITEON’s growth has been the surging demand for AI computing and data center infrastructure. They reported an 80% increase in cloud computing-related revenues over the first nine months, showcasing a robust shift towards high-end AI server power supplies and advanced cloud computing products. Anson Chiu, President of LITEON Technology, emphasized their strategic emphasis on AI infrastructure, noting that AI revenue now contributes over 30% to the company’s total, positioning LITEON as a significant participant in high-value AI sectors.

Strategic Moves for Future Growth

Looking ahead, LITEON is optimistic about continued growth in Q4 2026, largely due to advancements in next-generation AI power management systems. The company is set to undertake volume production of 8.5kW power supply units (PSUs) designed specifically for ASIC applications, alongside innovative energy storage solutions and power shelves for Helios applications. They also plan to commence prototype shipments of an 800 VDC Power Rack, reflecting their commitment to meeting the increasing needs of cutting-edge power applications.

Additionally, LITEON's board has approved a strategic investment to enhance its capabilities in high-power transformers and inductors. This move is expected to bolster their market position in critical AIDC power products. The recent approval to spin off LITEON Rack is aimed at focusing their core resources, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

Enhanced Capital Efficiency

LITEON's growing portfolio in high-value AI infrastructure has led to improvements in Return on Invested Capital (ROIC). With the successful completion of a NT$36 billion sustainability-linked syndicated loan, the company is strengthening its financial position to support global expansion and strategic investments while enhancing resilience and competitive edge.

Upcoming Showcase at electronica 2026

At the electronica 2026 exhibition in Munich, Germany, LITEON is set to showcase its comprehensive “One LITEON” portfolio, which integrates technologies and solutions that span from edge to cloud. Their offerings will highlight power and energy management solutions tailored for AI infrastructure, underscoring their extensive technological capabilities and commitment to excellence in next-generation computing infrastructure.
