The Royal Park Canvas Ginza Corridor Implements Eco-Friendly Water Options

The Royal Park Canvas Ginza Corridor's Commitment to Sustainability

Introduction

In a significant step towards sustainability, The Royal Park Canvas Ginza Corridor, led by General Manager Hiroko Seki, has successfully introduced water dispensers in all 161 guest rooms. The initiative is part of a broader commitment by Royal Park Hotels to reduce their environmental impact.

On June 15, 2026, the hotel eliminated the use of 100% recycled PET bottled mineral water in favor of a bottle-free water service. This marks the first time all guest rooms within the Royal Park Hotels group are equipped with a water dispensing service that enables guests to access purified drinking water at any time during their stay.

Environmental Impact

This groundbreaking initiative not only facilitates a more convenient experience for guests but also significantly reduces single-use plastic waste and CO₂ emissions. By moving towards a bottle-less system, the hotel is playing its part in contributing to a greener planet while providing an enhanced hospitality experience.

Participation in the “Bottle-Free Project” driven by Water Stand Co., Ltd. demonstrates the hotel's commitment to sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). More details on their sustainability efforts can be found on their official website.

Innovative Water Dispensing Solutions

The rooms feature the compact and power-free water dispenser, the “Nano Series Mate 2,” which is designed for hygienic management and contributes to a comfortable room environment. This innovative addition allows guests to enjoy fresh, purified water without the clutter of bottles.
