The Launch of Pivot® Performance Turf Revolutionizes New Jersey Sports Fields

The Launch of Pivot® Performance Turf in New Jersey

In an exciting development for sports enthusiasts in New Jersey, Athletic Fields of America (AFOA), a subsidiary of TenCate, has recently unveiled its innovative Pivot® Performance Turf. This cutting-edge artificial turf aims to replicate the natural feel and performance of real grass, marking a significant advancement in the turf industry. With installations already completed across various locations in New Jersey, athletes can expect a superior playing experience.

Revolutionizing Athletic Fields

The Pivot® Performance Turf is not just another synthetic grass; it has been meticulously engineered to provide an unprecedented athletic experience. Unlike traditional artificial turfs that often employ black crumb rubber infill, Pivot® offers a cleaner, more authentic playing surface. Community leaders and sports advocates have already highlighted its benefits.

Eric Ford, a Councilman in Linwood, expressed the community's enthusiasm: "Pivot Performance Turf has been a powerful investment in our community. We've been impressed with the natural grass-like experience it delivers and how it's been holding up to all of the nonstop play our teams have put it through. It was a game-changer for our community."

This sentiment is echoed by Robert Bongiovi, the Parks and Playgrounds Manager for North Brunswick, who noted the extensive groundwork involved in the installation process. After resolving a sinkhole issue before laying the turf, he remarked, "The team efficiently managed the field replacement, and we couldn't be more delighted with the Pivot turf they've installed. It is truly in a league of its own compared to other products I considered for the project, and the performance has been spectacular for our athletes."

Recent Installations and Future Plans

As part of its rollout, AFOA has completed several key installations of Pivot fields, including notable locations such as All Wars Memorial Park in Linwood and Sabella Park in North Brunswick. Other installations have taken place at Van Brunt Field in Montclair and Grekoski Park in South River, further enhancing the region's sports infrastructure.

Joe Fields, CEO and President of TenCate Americas, expressed his satisfaction with the product's adoption across the nation, stating, "The continued adoption of Pivot across the country is extremely gratifying. Our global team spent countless hours developing a best-in-class product, and I'm excited that more athletes will benefit from Pivot."

To maximize accessibility and quality, AFOA has additional installations planned for the summer of 2025. These include South Hunterdon Regional High School in Lambertville and Mount Olive High School in Flanders. Furthermore, expansions into New York state are already in the works, with plans for installations at Ardsley High School and Brewster High School later in the year.
