Alliant International University Unveils Statue of Responsibility

In a grand ceremony held on June 9, 2025, Alliant International University in San Diego dedicated a remarkable 15-foot Statue of Responsibility to honor the legacy of Dr. Viktor Frankl, a renowned psychologist and author of the celebrated book Man's Search for Meaning. This significant event not only commemorates Frankl’s profound impact on psychology but also emphasizes the vital connection between freedom and responsibility.

Dr. Frankl, a Holocaust survivor, emphasized, throughout his life, the essential role of personal choice and accountability in achieving true freedom. His famous quote underscores this philosophy: "Freedom threatens to degenerate into mere arbitrariness unless it is lived in terms of responsibleness."
