Discover Autumn's Bounty at the Hotel Continental Fuchu
Starting September 1, 2025, the Chinese Cuisine restaurant Phili located on the first floor of Hotel Continental Fuchu will launch a seasonal delight: the "Autumn Chinese Afternoon Tea." This special offering allows guests to savor the essence of autumn through exquisite delicacies prepared with fresh, organically grown ingredients sourced directly from the hotel's own farm, the Tohoku Farm in Aomori. This remarkable farm prides itself on cultivating pesticide-free vegetables, flavorful wild herbs, and high-quality brand eggs at a price of 300 yen each. These organic products are beautifully integrated into a traditional Chinese afternoon tea experience.
The Tohoku Farm spans an impressive area of approximately 100 hectares, with around 10 hectares dedicated to growing vegetables without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Not only does it produce a variety of crops, but it also ensures that its main ingredient, dent corn for the chickens, is grown organically, supporting sustainability.
