Celebrating Two Years of Flavors and Health at Kakoi
Located in Roppongi,
Kakoi is a unique chicken grilling restaurant founded by the renowned Yoshitomo Ishii, Michelin one-star chef of
Torikatsu Ishii, and food activist, Uemon Mitomi. As the restaurant marks its second anniversary, it introduces two new signature hot pot menus aimed at enhancing the dining experience and promoting health.
New Signature Dishes
1. Collagen-rich Jidori White Soup Hot Pot
This special hot pot dish comes with a rich white broth made by simmering chicken bones for over six hours. It features a variety of local chicken parts and a unique chicken meatball specifically designed for hot pots. Rich in collagen, this dish not only boosts beauty but also maximizes the savory taste of the chicken, allowing guests to savor every bite.
2. Body-balancing Clear Herbal Hot Pot
Alongside the white soup hot pot, Kakoi also introduces the
Clear Herbal Hot Pot, which is made from chicken clear soup combined with eight types of herbal ingredients. This special broth is complemented by rare chicken cuts such as thigh, neck, and harami, along with seasonal vegetables, ensuring a delightful and health-conscious dining experience.
Menu & Pricing
Both dishes are priced at
6,500 JPY (tax included) and come with a variety of accompaniments. The Collagen-rich Jidori White Soup Hot Pot requires a reservation and includes:

- - Assorted vegetables, plus three seasonal dishes and dessert.
On the other hand, the Body-balancing Clear Herbal Hot Pot, which doesn't require reservations, includes:

- - Assorted vegetables, also complemented by three seasonal dishes and dessert.

Both hot pots became available starting
October 4. For reservations, guests can reach out via their

About Kakoi
Kakoi, which opened in October 2023, follows the success of
Bird Artisan Ishii Hina in Minamiazabu. It is a collaboration once again between Yoshitomo Ishii from
