GIGABYTE Unveils Revolutionary OLED Gaming Monitors at CES 2026
At the CES 2026, GIGABYTE, a global leader in computer technology, has made waves with the introduction of four cutting-edge OLED gaming monitors. These new models are designed to maximize the exceptional capabilities of OLED panels, featuring superior image quality adjustments that enhance both HDR (High Dynamic Range) and SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) content. With their state-of-the-art visual experience and unparalleled control over details, GIGABYTE once again fortifies its position at the forefront of gaming monitor innovation.
GIGABYTE's latest monitors offer finely tuned HDR image modes, including Movie HDR, Game HDR, and Vivid HDR—each optimized for specific viewing environments. A common challenge with many OLED monitors is that images can appear overly dark in maximum brightness HDR modes due to APL limitations. GIGABYTE addresses this issue with a unique function called HyperNits, which utilizes a sophisticated algorithm to intelligently reshape the EOTF (Electro-Optical Transfer Function) curve. This innovative solution boosts brightness by up to 30% without sacrificing highlight details. Users have the choice between HyperNits High for maximum brightness enhancement or HyperNits Medium for a more subtle 20% lift, ideal for darker settings.
For everyday SDR content, GIGABYTE introduces a revolutionary AI Picture Mode. This feature leverages extensive datasets to automatically apply the optimal viewing mode for various activities. It intelligently adjusts brightness and blue light levels for improved comfort, enhances contrast, or enables AI Black Equalizer to improve visibility in FPS gaming scenarios. All these adjustments happen seamlessly in real-time, ensuring a smooth and adaptive viewing experience tailored to individual preferences.
Beyond image quality adjustments, GIGABYTE's exclusive tactical functionalities define the performance and usability of their gaming monitors. The Tactical Switch 2.0 allows users to switch between resolutions and aspect ratios, such as 43 or 54, with a single click, providing greater flexibility across different gaming genres. Moreover, the Ultra Clear feature enhances motion clarity and reduces motion blur, resulting in sharper images during fast-paced gaming, action-packed videos, and dynamic content.
The CES 2026 lineup includes the ultra-wide QD-OLED MO34WQC36 and the 4K QD-OLED MO32U24 monitors, both incorporating the latest QD-OLED anti-glare film and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications. Additionally, the MO34WQC36 benefits from a newly designed vertical sub-pixel structure for improved text clarity, while the MO27Q28GR utilizes 4th generation WOLED RealBlack Glossy technology, certified by UL for outstanding black performance in brightly lit areas. The 27-inch MO27Q2A QD-OLED is also being introduced in a new white finish, MO27Q2A ICE.
