CAS Introduces the 2025 CAS Future Leaders Program Participants
In an exciting development for the scientific community, CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) that focuses on scientific knowledge management, revealed the selected participants for the 2025 CAS Future Leaders™ program. This esteemed initiative is designed to empower early-career scientists by providing them with essential leadership training and valuable networking opportunities.
A Diverse Cohort of Innovators
The new cohort for this year includes 35 remarkable early-career scientists representing 12 different countries. These individuals are engaged in ground-breaking research across various disciplines such as nanotechnology, computational chemistry, materials science, and green chemistry, indicating a vibrant mix of expertise and innovation.
Among the participants are:

- - Carla Arnau del Valle, Universitat Politècnica de València
- - Ridwan T. Ayinla, Mississippi State University
- - Jingshan S. Du, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
- - Alexandra Barth, North Carolina State University.
These selected scientists will partake in an intensive in-person program in August, encompassing leadership development workshops, mentorship opportunities, and scientific discussions. This emphasis on collaboration and mutual learning is a cornerstone of the program, fostering connections among talented individuals across the globe.
