With ongoing inflation affecting domestic travel, Oisix aims to provide an immersive gastronomic experience that allows families to explore various regional cuisines conveniently at home.
The recent statistics from Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism revealed a significant decline in the number of nationwide overnight stays, indicating that the rising cost of living is dampening travel enthusiasm. In this context, Oisix’s new kit is designed not just to nourish the body but also to stimulate the spirit of exploration through the delightful world of Japanese food.
"超ラク丼Kit" offers a unique way to experience the rich tapestry of flavors found across the country's regional cuisines, with a new bowl recipe released every six months until June 2026. Customers are encouraged to join in the experience, as a voting poll will be held in July 2026 to determine the most popular dish, adding an exciting interactive element to the project.
The first series, titled "Umai Mon Don Dai Shu Go" (Gathering of Delicious Bowls), features an enticing lineup of four types of bowls from Hokkaido, Osaka, and Fukuoka. This collection highlights the ease and satisfaction of bowl-style meals, requiring just 10 minutes of preparation for a delightful dining experience.
