Unveiling UA Curated: A New Era in Fashion Curation by United Arrows



United Arrows, a renowned name in the fashion industry, has launched an innovative curation store project named "UA CURATED." Spearheaded by CEO Yoshinori Matsuzaki and based in Shibuya, Tokyo, this initiative draws on the talents of prominent creators across various fields, aiming to redefine how products are chosen and presented in alignment with contemporary sensibilities.

Project Overview



The UA CURATED project began on October 2nd and features collaborations with stylist TEPPEI, the hair salon FLEURI, and the creative team behind Magic Island. Each collaborator brings their unique creativity to co-create three distinct stores under the UA CURATED umbrella, blending their visions with United Arrows’ aesthetic. This project hopes to cultivate new engagement avenues, going beyond traditional branding and recognition to foster genuine connections through relatable media that resonate with consumers’ tastes and preferences.

In its mid-term management plan (2024-2026), United Arrows has outlined the "UA CREATIVITY Strategy: Rebranding the Corporate Image" as one of its primary strategies. This initiative aims to rejuvenate the company's brand image and broaden recognition for the next generation.

1. Seeds of Virtue (品性の種)


The first of the initiatives showcases nine portraits captured by stylist TEPPEI, centered around United Arrows' nine brands, all united under the theme of “virtue.” TEPPEI’s work reflects not only individual style but also the silent strength and playful spirit that defines each attire. Besides, TEPPEI has curated a selection of ten exquisite items that embody this ideal. Visitors are encouraged to explore their interpretations and seek out their unique understanding of “virtue” within the clothing’s narrative.

TEPPEI’s distinctive fashion philosophy has transcended generations, earning him broad support in the fashion community.

2. UA Hair Project


Acknowledging the intimate relationship between hairstyles and fashion, the UA Hair Project seeks to visualize personal expression through hair and mood. Convening at the FLEURI salon in Daikanyama, stylists interact casually with models to curate hairstyles reflecting both current feelings and uniqueness. United Arrows picks out items from various brands to align these newfound styles with the latest trends, allowing each individual to creatively engage with their personal style.

Collaborator Profile - FLEURI


Founded in September 2019 by stylist Sakie, who is also a hair and makeup artist, FLEURI promotes exceptional hair styling, emphasizing a relaxed and personal connection with clients. The salon is located on the second floor of the Daikanyama Treasure Building in Shibuya.

3. Magic Island Project


Embedding the essence of West Coast surf culture and the 90s revival, the Magic Island Project introduces a fictional select shop. By providing fresh perspectives on United Arrows products, this initiative aims to curate laid-back outfits perfect for urban youth. A creative team composed of 90s-born stylists and designers oversees the visual aesthetics, ensuring a nostalgic yet dreamy experience that sparks joy amid daily routines.
