Taiwan's Cultural Extravaganza in Chicago



The bustling heart of Chicago came alive on December 13, 2025, as the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA), in partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Chicago, hosted the vibrant #PictureMeInTaiwan event at the iconic Chicago Union Station. This family-friendly festival was designed to offer a unique glimpse into Taiwanese culture, creativity, and hospitality, making it a must-see for locals and visitors alike.

A Mini-Taiwan Experience



The Great Hall of Chicago Union Station was transformed into a mini-Taiwan fair, capturing the essence of the island nation. Attendees were treated to a plethora of immersive activities, including themed walk-in photo booths inspired by Taiwan's famous landmarks, craft stations for hands-on creativity, and traditional games that showcased Taiwan's rich cultural heritage.

Live performances further enriched the experience, as guests enjoyed Taiwanese folk melodies played on traditional instruments, providing an auditory taste of Taiwan's cultural landscape. The highlight of the evening was an exciting raffle, where attendees had a chance to win round-trip tickets to Taiwan, courtesy of China Airlines and EVA Air.
