This additional funding, continuing from their initial investment in April 2024, aims to strengthen the relationship between the two companies and enhance the application of drone technology in agriculture, pushing towards sustainable farming methods.

Background and Future Developments of the Investment

Yamatané’s initial investment in Aeronext was primarily focused on solutions within the logistics sector. Since then, both companies have engaged in extensive discussions to deepen their mutual understanding of Aeronext’s technology and its potential applications. Recognizing the accumulated know-how Aeronext has developed in drone operations for logistics—particularly in multiple drone operations—the decision was made to invest further. This investment is aimed at applying these advanced technologies to agricultural settings, including pesticide spraying and field management.

With the acute labor shortages currently affecting the agricultural sector, Yamatané sees Aeronext's drone technology as a viable approach to achieving sustainable farming solutions. Leveraging its established procurement and distribution networks built through collaborations with agricultural producers, Yamatané is committed to working with Aeronext towards establishing sustainable farming models.
