Online Seminar: Uncovering Success in the Childcare Industry
On September 25th and 26th, 2025, Oisix Ra Daichi Inc., headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is holding an insightful online seminar entitled "What Makes That Nursery Successful? Success Secrets Revealed Through Case Studies." This event, hosted in collaboration with five other companies providing innovative solutions, aims to address the pressing challenges currently facing the childcare industry, including rising costs, labor shortages, and declining birth rates.
The Evolving Landscape of Childcare
As population decline and decreasing birth rates pose significant challenges to nursery operations, enhancing business efficiency has become crucial. Historically, the government’s focus has been on increasing the quantity of childcare services, primarily to address waitlisting issues. However, in December 2024, the Child and Family Agency shifted this focus towards ensuring and improving the quality of childcare amidst the ongoing challenges brought about by demographic changes. Facilities are increasingly facing difficulties in sustainable operations due to declining enrollment, chronic staff shortages, and surging operational costs such as food and utility expenses. Such conditions not only elevate the workload for childcare workers but also jeopardize the maintenance of quality caregiving and the sustainability of nursery operations.
In light of these circumstances, childcare service companies are under strong pressure to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining and improving quality, all to be chosen by parents as preferred nurseries. Since its launch in 2015, Oisix has introduced its childcare meal service "Sukusuku Oisix," which aims to alleviate the burdens associated with food procurement and preparation in over 1,200 childcare facilities as of July 2025.
The Seminar Agenda
During this seminar, participants will hear from six companies, each providing unique solutions to various challenges within the childcare industry. They will discuss how their services can significantly reduce operational burdens and enhance the quality of care. Alongside showcasing their innovative offerings, user testimonials will provide valuable insights into how these solutions directly contribute to enhanced efficiency and quality in nursery operations.
