A Wealth of Experience
Krista Conte holds more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as the Executive Vice President of Insurance and Distribution at AAA Club Alliance. In this capacity, she directed the organization’s insurance operations and guided agents handling personal and commercial lines, which were responsible for a significant part of the club's revenue stream. During her tenure at AAA Club Alliance, Conte was instrumental in nurturing agency talent, crafting sales strategies, and refining operational systems.
Before her successful stint at AAA, Conte was the Head of Distribution at Farmers Insurance, where she managed an impressive $18 billion in gross written premiums. Her responsibilities encompassed crafting distribution strategies across various channels, including personal lines, life insurance, and brokered business. Her tenure at Farmers is notable for record-setting accomplishments, including increasing the average agency size to an impressive $1.8 million.
Conte’s early career included 16 years at Allstate, where she held multiple leadership roles, most notably as Field Vice President for the California Region. In this capacity, she oversaw over 900 agencies and was responsible for more than $3 billion in premiums. Her leadership there was marked by significant achievements, including guiding the region to top national rankings in production across all lines, particularly highlighted during catastrophe-response efforts in a highly dynamic market.
Educational Background
Conte's educational foundation includes a bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University, equipping her with both the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to excel in the demanding insurance landscape.
