SERES Group Launches Global Expansion After Successful HKEX Listing

SERES Group's Historic Listing on HKEX

On November 5, 2025, SERES Group officially made its debut on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) under the stock code 9927.HK. This landmark event positions SERES as the first luxury new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer from China to achieve listings in both the A-share and H-share markets. With this move, it has recorded the largest IPO by a Chinese automaker to date and marks a significant step in its global growth strategy.

The journey to this milestone began on October 27, when SERES initiated its Hong Kong IPO, which ultimately turned out to be a major success with a staggering oversubscription rate of 133 times, leading to a capital raise exceeding HK$170 billion. A notable portion of this raised capital, roughly 70%, is earmarked for advancing research and development, illustrating SERES's commitment to innovation. Meanwhile, around 20% of the proceeds will facilitate the expansion of diverse marketing strategies, overseas sales, and the development of a robust charging network.

One of the critical highlights of this offering was the inclusion of 22 cornerstone investors. Among them are esteemed entities such as the Chongqing Industrial Mother Fund, the Linyuan Fund, and Schroders, which underscores a strong acknowledgment from global capital markets of SERES’s vast growth potential and exceptional development prospects. Philanthropic backing from such credible investors is expected to elevate SERES's valuation and establish a high bar for its investment appeal, enhancing both its financing capabilities and overall capital efficiency.

SERES Expands Global Footprint

As a leading player in the premium NEV segment, SERES has actively pursued international expansion. Its presence is now established in various global markets, including significant engagement in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Africa. Entry into pivotal European markets such as Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland represents a robust foundation for its global outreach.
