ANA Mall Launches Special SDGs Site to Promote Sustainability and Upcycled Products

ANA Mall Unveils Special SDGs Section

On October 9, 2025, ANA X Corporation, under the slogan "ANA Future Promise," will launch a dedicated SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) site within its online shopping platform, ANA Mall. This initiative is part of the company's commitment to contributing toward a sustainable society as a member of the ANA Group.

Focus on Upcycled Products

The SDGs section will highlight the unique upcycled products created by various ANA Group companies, showcasing their backgrounds and the environmentally conscious products available for purchase. This includes a variety of daily essentials and travel items, alongside innovative upcycled products exclusive to ANA Mall.

One of the highlights is the upcycled creations using former uniforms and aircraft waste materials. At the heart of this initiative is the ANA Waku Waku Shop (run by ANA Wing Fellows and V. Oji Co., Ltd.), which breathes new life into items that have completed their original purpose. Among the much-anticipated releases is a limited edition upcycled bag in a chic navy color, perfect for the autumn and winter seasons. The bag, made from carefully cleaned and hand-sewn materials, reflects the craftsmanship and dedication of its creators. Additionally, an upcycled flower product crafted in collaboration with textile florist Lovéco, combines materials from the aviation industry and fashion, adorned with an ANA logo ribbon.

A Culture of Waste Reduction

This upcycling movement was sparked by a mechanic's desire to see their work uniforms serve a new purpose. Through a process that honors the philosophy of waste reduction, each piece is meticulously crafted by artisans into a functional and stylish upcycled bag. The creativity doesn't stop there; they also produce keychains from actual airplane remnants, and unique room slippers and cushions that utilize distinct fabric patterns from aircraft seats. This has garnered a warm reception from customers, who appreciate both the story and quality behind these products.

Banana Products: A Unique Craft Beer

In an exciting new venture, the ANA Group has recently introduced its first alcoholic beverage, the Banabana Brew, stemming from the internal proposal system "Gattsuri Hiroba." Using rejected bananas from Tanabe Farm in Ecuador—often deemed too damaged for market—this craft beer is produced in collaboration with Far Yeast Brewing. By using these irregular bananas, the product not only delivers delicious flavors but also contributes to reducing food waste. The aromatic and flavorful bananas lend their essence to each sip for a truly special experience. The Banabana Brew will be available as a gift set containing three cans for 2,000 yen plus tax.

ANA Mall's Commitment to Sustainability

With a commitment to promoting environmentally-conscious products, ANA Mall serves as a platform for sustainable living. Alongside its exclusive offerings, the shopping site features other eco-friendly products such as label-free bottles and environmentally considerate daily essentials, emphasizing the necessity of mindful consumer choices.

Future Initiatives

ANA X continues to enhance its efforts toward sustainability under the "ANA Future Promise" initiative, which emphasizes environmental care, social responsibility, and sound governance as part of its corporate ethos. By fostering a strong connection with customers and community members, ANA Group aims to contribute significantly to the achievement of the SDGs.
