Cash Payment Available for Consumers of Joint Juice Glucosamine After Class Action Settlement

Overview of the Class Action Settlement

In a significant development for consumers, a proposed settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuits concerning Joint Juice® glucosamine supplements. This comes after allegations that Premier Nutrition Company, the product's manufacturer, misrepresented the benefits of their supplements. While Premier Nutrition denies any wrongdoing, the settlement aims to resolve the matter without further litigation.

Who is Eligible?

If you purchased Joint Juice in specific states during a set timeframe, you could benefit from this agreement. Consumers in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Pennsylvania who bought these supplements between March 1, 2009, and December 31, 2022, are eligible. To check your eligibility, visit www.JointJuiceSettlement.com.

What Does the Settlement Offer?

The total settlement allocated by Premier Nutrition amounts to approximately $70,839,813.53. After attorney fees, costs, and administrative expenses are deducted, the remaining funds will be distributed among eligible Class Members. It is estimated that individual payouts will exceed 150% of the average retail price of the items purchased.

For Class Members tracked through retailer records, payments will be made automatically based on the quantity of Joint Juice units purchased. Those who do not have proof of purchase can claim up to $150. Furthermore, with receipts or other documentation, it’s possible to receive cash that exceeds the full refunds for each unit eligible under the class action.

How to File a Claim

To receive cash compensation, it's crucial for interested parties to submit a Claim Form by May 15, 2026. This can be done online via www.JointJuiceSettlement.com, or by requesting a paper claim form by calling 1-888-921-0720.

Options for Consumers

Consumers not wishing to participate in the settlement have the option to opt-out by submitting an exclusion request by April 6, 2026. This is the only method to maintain the right to pursue independent legal action against Premier Nutrition. Additionally, if opting out is not desired, objections to the settlement can be filed before the same date. Detailed instructions for exclusions and objections are available on the settlement website.

Final Approval Hearing

A court hearing is scheduled for 10 AM on May 5, 2026, at the René C. Davidson Courthouse, Department 1, located at 1225 Fallon Street, Oakland, CA 94612. This hearing will determine whether to approve the settlement in the case of Bland v. Premier Nutrition Corporation, Case No. RG19002714 (Alameda Super. Ct.). The court will also address a fee request for attorneys amounting to 33% of the settlement fund, an expense reimbursement of approximately $825,000, and $10,000 awards for each of the ten Class Representatives. Attendance at this hearing is optional and will be at the cost of the interested parties.
