Huawei Unveils Enhanced Xinghe Intelligent Networks for a Smart European Future

Huawei's Vision for Intelligent Networks in Europe

During the Huawei Network Summit 2025, more than 800 industry experts and partners gathered from over 30 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey, to explore trends in intelligent networking and share insights on Europe's digital transformation. Huawei, a global leader in information and communications technology, unveiled its fully revamped offerings for the Xinghe intelligent networks, designed to foster innovation and enhance smart productivity across Europe.

A New Era of Intelligent Networking

Jim Lu, Senior Vice President and President of Huawei's European Region, emphasized the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), stating, "With the growth of AI capabilities and declining costs, its large-scale adoption is accelerating. The fully updated Xinghe intelligent network streamlines data flow and provides an unparalleled AI experience, making it ideal for expediting the intelligent transformation of industries. Huawei aims to continue collaborating with customers and partners to build a strong foundation for intelligence and achieve mutual success in a smarter future."

Huawei’s Xinghe intelligent network is underpinned by an innovative framework known as '3-Beyond.' This framework consists of:
1. Beyond Performance: Enhancing network capabilities to deliver exceptional service experiences.
2. Beyond Resilience: Ensuring unprecedented resilience for maximum reliability and security.
3. Beyond Autonomy: Integrating digital and physical realms to enable advanced autonomous networks.

Innovations in Campus Environments

At the event, Huawei introduced two major innovations aimed at enhancing campus environments. The first is the industry's first access point equipped with hidden camera detection capabilities that uses smart algorithms to scan the entire frequency spectrum, thereby ensuring continuous privacy protection. Moreover, Huawei's Wi-Fi sensors leverage patented algorithms to detect micro-movements at centimeter-level accuracy, providing an additional layer of security against intrusions in sensitive areas.

Advancements in Datacenter Networks

In the realm of data center connectivity, the newly unveiled Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 promises uninterrupted network availability with exceptional resilience. Given the explosive growth in transaction volumes—reaching up to 100,000 per second—the need for rapid recovery has never been more critical. Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 can simulate and configure thousands of network and security devices within a mere five minutes, resulting in up to a 100-fold increase in efficiency. Additionally, the innovative Eagle-Eye Engine is capable of real-time detection of 200,000 data streams, ensuring comprehensive operational quality analysis and quick fault detection and resolution.

Enhancing Smart WAN Capabilities

Providers struggle with traditional methods that fail to reliably identify encrypted applications, limiting value-added services. To address this, Huawei's intelligent service recognition algorithm significantly increases the accuracy of identifying encrypted applications to over 95%. In the energy sector, the transition to flexible networks imposes stringent low-latency requirements, which Huawei meets with its intelligent signal fluctuation elimination technology that controls latency variations within 10 µs—20 times better than industry average.

Automating Network Management

To tackle challenges such as the rapid increase in mobile applications and the inefficient manual operation and maintenance, Huawei introduced NetMaster—the industry's first intelligent network agent. NetMaster automates processes from awareness and analysis to decision-making and execution, automatically resolving 80% of wireless network issues in higher education and office settings, drastically reducing resolution time from hours to minutes.

Solutions for Healthcare and SMBs

Healthcare settings frequently experience significant packet loss during roaming and unreliable connections. Huawei's zero-roaming technology using Advanced Same Frequency Network (ASFN) allows for synchronization between access points in nanoseconds, thus ensuring seamless connectivity for healthcare devices. Additionally, the dual-controller architecture and dual data channels of Huawei's dual-engine switch enable switching in one second, meeting the stringent demands of healthcare services.

On the commercial front, small and medium enterprises often face limitations due to budget constraints, lack of IT expertise, and poor video conferencing quality. The HUAWEI eKit addresses these issues with innovative products, including the AR180 enterprise-grade wireless router that integrates eight key functionalities, thereby reducing capital expenditures by 50%.

Collaboration and Future Directions

At the summit, Huawei, in collaboration with industry pioneers and standardization organizations, published the "Wi-Fi 7 Advanced" white paper. This document outlines innovations such as continuous 80 MHz network connections across multiple access points, integrated Wi-Fi communication, and comprehensive security measures. Furthermore, a white paper comparing Ethernet connections for AI and HPC workloads reveals that Ethernet outperforms InfiniBand in key metrics. With the implementation of NSLB algorithms, the RoCE network performance significantly improves, making Ethernet a primary choice for intelligent computing data centers.

Huawei is committed to promoting innovation and collaboration within ecosystems while positioning the Xinghe intelligent networks as a foundational element for a smarter infrastructure and a smarter future.
