Qatar Museum Launches Global Photography Call for Unity in Culture

Under One Sky: Join the Global Photography Initiative

The Tasweer Photography initiative, part of Qatar Museums, has announced an exciting global call for entries to the exhibition titled Under One Sky. This initiative aligns with the ongoing Years of Culture program and aims to celebrate the spirit of unity experienced during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. This exhibition is set to take place in early 2026 across various Qatar embassies in Washington, Ottawa, and Mexico City, coinciding with the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The exhibition is a tribute to friendship and a recognition of the emotional bonds formed among fans worldwide during the tournament. As it explores the theme of unity, Under One Sky will feature powerful photographs and personal stories that highlight universal values such as joy, kindness, hospitality, and goodwill. These elements brought people together in a profound way, showcasing the shared spirit of the World Cup.

Aisha Abdulla Hamad Al Misnad, the Deputy Director of Special Projects at Years of Culture, mentioned, "This project pays homage to the supporters who made the 2022 World Cup a moment of joy and togetherness. By sharing these memories, we celebrate Qatar's legacy as a welcoming host nation and continue to foster cultural dialogue through football."
