Chile Wine Fest Makes Its Miami Debut
On October 14, 2026, Miami will host the first-ever Chile Wine Fest, an exciting event designed to celebrate the incredible diversity of Chilean wines. The festival will occur at the historical Alfred I. duPont Building and is expected to attract both wine and spirits professionals and enthusiastic consumers eager to discover Chile's rich viticultural heritage.
After successful events held in New York City, this festival promises a unique opportunity to explore the extensive portfolio of about 20 Chilean wineries. Each participant will showcase wines sourced from various regions of Chile, emphasizing the country's distinctive terroirs and heritage varieties. According to Julio Alonso, Executive Director of Wines of Chile USA, this festival is more than just a wine tasting; it aims to present a comprehensive and modern view of Chile’s wine culture.
The event will kick off with a trade session from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, allowing industry professionals to engage in two informative masterclasses. These classes will delve into Chile's unique heritage varieties and terroir-driven wines, supplemented by tastings that pair wines with local gastronomy. There will also be ample opportunities for networking with the participating producers, fostering connections between American distributors and Chilean wineries.
From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the festival opens its doors to consumers, inviting the general public to experience the vibrancy of Chilean wines firsthand. Guests will have the chance to sample a wide variety of wines and learn from knowledgeable guides about each selection's unique flavor profiles, production methods, and the stories behind the vineyards.
In addition to wine tastings, the event will feature the Pisco Experience Lab, a dedicated section celebrating Chile’s national spirit. This segment will showcase Chilean pisco producers who will facilitate tastings and offer educational experiences about this iconic alcoholic beverage. Claudia Serrer, Trade Commissioner of Chile in Miami, pointed out that pisco plays a significant role in Chilean heritage and possesses considerable potential in the U.S. market. The Pisco Experience Lab will help enlighten attendees on its origins and the myriad of ways it can be enjoyed.
Organized by Wines of Chile with the solid support of ProChile, the event has garnered backing from various partners, including LATAM Airlines, Hillebrand Gori, a DHL company, BluGlacier, Australis Cruises, and Pisco Chile. This collaborative effort underscores the significance of Chile Wine Fest, aiming to strengthen the connections between Chile and the U.S. market, particularly in South Florida, known for its cultural diversity and influential wine scene.
For anyone interested in exploring Chile's terroirs and expanding their palate with its exquisite wines and spirits, the Chile Wine Fest is not to be missed. Registration is available at
