ACBSP President Jeffrey Alderman Steps Down After Decade of Service



The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) has officially announced the retirement of its President and CEO, Jeffrey Alderman, effective October 1, 2025. Alderman has been at the helm of the organization for the last ten years, during which he has significantly influenced business education on a global scale.

In a heartfelt statement, Alderman expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead ACBSP. He highlighted the commitment and dedication of the Board of Directors, the professional team, and members globally, reflecting on how inspiring it has been to work alongside such passionate individuals. Alderman noted, "I have been so grateful for the opportunity to serve as President and CEO of ACBSP for the past decade. Dennis Brode, Chair of the ACBSP Board of Directors, recognized Alderman’s contributions, saying, "On behalf of the ACBSP Board of Directors, I want to thank Jeffrey for his years of service and dedication to our mission. During his tenure, ACBSP reached record-high membership and financial reserves. Jeffrey guided the organization through a global pandemic and transitioned to virtual and hybrid models for meetings and events. We are grateful for his contributions and wish him well in his next chapter."

The impending leadership transition at ACBSP presents an opportunity for the organization to embark on a new phase of growth, while steadfastly upholding its mission to enhance and recognize excellence in business education worldwide. The ACBSP Executive Committee and the full Board of Directors are actively ensuring a smooth transition. Plans for interim leadership are in development, and a national search for Alderman's successor will be conducted to continue ACBSP's mission.
