¥9.8 million.
Overview of Projects
1.
Support for Stray Cat Spaying: With the aim of curbing the feral cat population, this initiative provides financial assistance for spaying surgeries. The goal is to alleviate issues faced by local residents and contribute to a healthier living environment. The initiative offers up to
¥10,000 for female cats and
¥6,000 for males, with an anticipated annual impact on
100 female and 50 male cats. Mayor Kato emphasized, “Following the successful initiation of our spaying program, community awareness has notably improved, yet we still face challenges with stray cat complaints.
