Exploring the Future of Mobility at the 2025 OMODA & JAECOO Summit

2025 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit

On October 21, 2025, the vibrant city of Wuhu, China, hosted the 2025 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit, an event that served as a melting pot of ideas and innovations in the automotive industry. This year’s summit, themed “Co-Create, Co-Define,” attracted over 3,000 participants from nearly 100 different countries, including users, dealer partners, ESG advisors, and media representatives. The gathering aimed to foster meaningful discussions regarding the next chapter in mobility.

A Focus on Sustainable Development

A significant announcement during the summit was the launch of the Global ESG Advisory Alliance, aimed at amplifying the sustainable development framework initiated by OMODA & JAECOO's parent company. This year’s expansion saw the inclusion of respected organizations such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), United Nations University, and the Asian Paralympic Committee. The presence of former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who joined as an ESG advisor, underscored the alliance’s commitment to sustainable mobility.

This upgraded alliance marks a pivotal shift in OMODA & JAECOO's approach, transitioning from internal strategies to open collaborations that advocate for low-carbon technology research and development, public welfare initiatives, and the establishing of industry standards. The goal is to shift sustainable mobility from mere principles to practicable actions that resonate on a global scale.

As part of its ESG strategy, the company has operationalized a framework governed by three key pillars: Low-Carbon Transition and Nature Benefits, Value Chain Collaborative Cooperation, and Self-Discipline and Compliance Development. Noteworthy technological advancements include the Mars Architecture Hybrid Platform and innovations in solid-state battery technology, which are crucial for facilitating a low-carbon transition.

Achievements in Sustainability

Moreover, OMODA & JAECOO has emerged as the first Chinese automaker to receive mutual recognition under the China-Europe Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), highlighting their environmental commitment. On the social front, partnerships with UNICEF aim to “Empower Every Child's Learning Journey,” while collaborations with IUCN focus on vital nature conservation projects.

The summit's focus on the theme “CO-CREATE • CO-DEFINE” also highlighted the shared vision of advancing the future of mobility under the slogan “ENTER SUPER NEXT.” OMODA aspires to become a leading crossover brand globally, while JAECOO aims to establish itself as a premier refined off-road brand within the automotive sector. Together, they are embarking on a journey to build a unique competitive advantage in the industry.

Innovations on Display

An exciting new addition showcased at the summit was the Mo Jia Robot (AiMOGA), a product of collaboration with the AiMOGA team. The robot symbolizes a commitment to intelligent co-creation within the automotive landscape, pushing the boundaries of technological innovation further than ever before.

In Malaysia, OMODA & JAECOO’s current offerings include models such as the J7, J7 PHEV, J8, and C9, with plans to continue introducing new models to cater to the local market’s evolving demands. This expansion is bolstered by the presence of three sister brands, namely Chery, iCAUR, and Lepas, under the same corporate umbrella.

Conclusion

The 2025 OMODA & JAECOO International User Summit was a testament to the potential of collaborative efforts in achieving sustainable mobility. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, OMODA and JAECOO remain committed to leading the charge towards a more sustainable and innovative future.
