Primefocus Health and Marshall Health Network Unite for Enhanced Breast Cancer Care

Strengthening Breast Cancer Care through Collaboration

In a significant move to improve healthcare for breast cancer patients, Primefocus Health and Marshall Health Network have announced the expansion of their collaborative efforts during the CES® 2026 event. This partnership aims to enhance prehabilitation and rehabilitation services at the Edwards Cancer Institute, signaling a new era in patient care driven by technology and compassion.

A Track Record of Success

The decision to extend their collaboration is backed by the positive results from a pilot program focused on addressing obesity in rural West Virginia. Over the program, 250 patients participated in the initiative designed to assist those in vulnerable communities. This pilot not only highlighted the need for innovative healthcare solutions but also demonstrated the efficacy of remote care.

Among the notable achievements were:
  • - Enhanced Access to Care: Patients were able to receive ongoing support without the frequent travel typically required, allowing them to remain engaged with their health management from home.
  • - High Patient Engagement: Remarkably, 77% of active participants completed their care tasks every two weeks, showcasing the program's impact on patient accountability and self-management.
  • - Care Team Efficiency: Utilizing actionable insights, healthcare teams could identify patient conditions early, leading to timely interventions that reduced unnecessary urgent care visits.
  • - Increased Patient Satisfaction: By providing greater access to care professionals, patients reported a feeling of empowerment regarding their health, paving the way for more proactive self-care.
