Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial Launches Second Phase

The Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial has officially kicked off its much-anticipated second phase, showcasing nine freshly unveiled installations spread across iconic locations in the emirate. Running until April 30, 2025, the Biennial presents a dynamic exploration of art, culture, and community, featuring site-specific works by over 70 artists from Abu Dhabi and around the world. This includes 40 new commissions that have been thoughtfully placed throughout both downtown Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, reflecting a diverse artistic expression.

The second phase's launch follows an extraordinary debut in November, exhibiting pieces from notable artists including Anga Art Collective, Arquitectura Expandida, Ayesha Hadhir, and Tarik Kiswanson. Alongside this, Atelier Aziz Al Qatami will continue to evolve its installation at the Abu Dhabi Bus Terminal, adding to the event's vibrancy.
