American Power Systems Unveils Innovative Dual Alternator Kit for Nissan Patrol

The standard OEM alternators typically do not deliver sufficient power to meet these heightened demands. The kit allows users to incorporate APS's 12V, 24V, or 48V alternators, creating versatile power configurations tailored to their operational requirements.

By Spring 2025, they expanded their offerings with additional high-efficiency alternators boasting 290 and 390 amps of Ultra Performance at Idle (UPI). Furthermore, APS also provides an idle speed control kit for the Nissan Patrol, enhancing overall vehicle functionality.

Testing and Reliability

To ensure that their products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, APS subjects all new offerings to rigorous engineering processes and durability tests that comply with industry standards. Currently, over 2,000 vehicles equipped with APS products are in active operation, contributing to approximately 18,000 kilometers of testing conducted at the Nevada Automotive Test Center. This ensures their high-efficiency alternators can perform reliably in the toughest conditions, providing stable power when it's most needed.
