Asian Hall of Fame Honors Achievements as America Celebrates 250 Years

Asian Hall of Fame Honors Contributions in America

On December 30, 2025, the Asian Hall of Fame (AHOF) revealed significant funding aimed at enhancing equity and visibility in society as part of America’s 250th anniversary initiatives. This year, AHOF proudly awarded $1.2 million to 177 recipients, including researchers, scholarship winners, and community partners. Since its establishment in 2004, the Hall has committed a total of $4.2 million, which has helped create approximately 1,270 job opportunities across various sectors.

The announcement comes amidst increasing applications for scholarships geared towards women in technology, entertainment, and sports, with 115 submissions arriving from 35 different states this year alone. These scholarships aim to foster more inclusive representation in industries where women are significantly underrepresented.

AHOF successively underscores the notion that mainstream American society stands to gain immensely from the rich cultural heritage and legacy provided by Asian communities. This awareness propelled the organization to initiate peer exchange programs across multiple cities, such as Pasadena, Portland, and Bellevue. These cross-ethnic philanthropic events achieved monumental media exposure, totaling an impressive 9.2 billion impressions. Additionally, the outreach via live streams on YouTube reached over 87 million households.

Highlight projects for 2025 include early career grants in collaboration with Women Investing in Nurses (WIN) and fire relief efforts in partnership with Altadena Girls. These initiatives not only facilitate job creation but also extend considerable support to those in need, showcasing the spirit of collective contribution.

With the American Dream serving as a central theme, AHOF aims to highlight inspiring Asian role models’ stories throughout the upcoming event season. These celebrations will illustrate the positive impacts these individuals have made in their communities and across the nation. The Hall is also keen on honoring U.S. veterans—a mission deeply resonating with its history, as the founding family immigrated to America 163 years ago.

Maki Hsieh, President and CEO of AHOF, noted, “The American Dream is a story of opportunity, innovation, and the legacy of generations. This embodies the core values which inspire our honorees of the year. We warmly invite all Americans to celebrate the immense contributions and sacrifices made by Asian communities to the welfare of our nation and humanity.”

The 2026 event season is set to commence in February from Honolulu, Hawaii, featuring the “Destination Hawai’i” events aimed at fundraising for anti-human trafficking efforts and the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Early career grants will be supported by the WIN charity tea, WIN Starlight Gala, Murakami Soiree, and the “Gnome for the Holidays” event. Similarly, the women’s scholarship will be backed by the California Icons Gala, Eastside Excellence in Washington, and Power of Portland initiatives. Grants addressing cognitive health and trauma will also be supported by launches in New York and Sunnyvale.

The culmination of these celebrations will be the annual gala on November 7, 2026, which will feature a media-rich streaming experience available on various social platforms. This spectacular event will gather distinguished Asian families, renowned award presenters, and top-performing artists to pay tribute to extraordinary achievements and aspirations that reflect the American spirit.

Founded in 2004, the Asian Hall of Fame is passionately engaged in promoting cross-ethnic collaboration and public recognition of Asian and Indigenous legacies. For inquiries, please contact: email protected] or call (626) 600-9418. More information is available at [www.asianhalloffame.org.
