Celebrating 41 Years of Academic Excellence at ACEM

The Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) recently celebrated its 41st anniversary of re-establishment, a pivotal moment marking several remarkable achievements across various domains. As one of China’s leading business schools, ACEM continues to excel in academic research, discipline development, and international cooperation, reflecting its robust commitment to educational quality and leadership.

In the 2025 edition of the Financial Times' Masters in Management rankings, ACEM proudly secured fifth place globally, with an outstanding first place in employment outcomes. Additionally, five of its disciplines have made it to the top 50 worldwide, with disciplines like Business Management Studies and Statistics & Operational Research ranking impressively in the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject. Furthermore, ACEM achieved 25th place in the World University Rankings for Business and Economics, solidifying its position as the third-best institution in China.

The MBA program offered by ACEM remains a cornerstone of its educational offerings, ranked among the top three in the Chinese Mainland for six consecutive years in the QS Global MBA Rankings. In response to the evolving educational landscape, ACEM has expanded its academic programs significantly. Notably, it has signed a cooperative agreement with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to introduce a dual-degree program in Finance and FinTech, the first of its kind between mainland Chinese universities and institutions in Hong Kong.
