The renowned Utah Sports Commission has teamed up with Tony Hawk Inc. to announce the highly anticipated return of Tony Hawk's Vert Alert (THVA). Scheduled to take place on July 18th and 19th, 2025, at the prestigious Jon M. Huntsman Center at the University of Utah, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever. A Weekend Full of Thrills
The weekend kicks off with exhilarating semi-final rounds featuring the most talented male and female skaters from around the globe. Friday's lineup also includes the much-loved Legends Demo, where skateboarding legends will display their incredible skills and electric performances. For fans, this is a chance to witness history in the making as legends come together to celebrate the sport's beloved culture.
Saturday's events will present the edge-of-your-seat climax: the THVA Finals. This year's competition will host twenty elite skaters, both men and women, as they battle it out in a quest for glory, and the highly coveted Best Trick Contest will add another layer of excitement. With a total prize purse of $75,000 up for grabs, spectators can expect jaw-dropping performances featuring some of the largest airs and most innovative tricks in vert skateboarding—all on Hawk's state-of-the-art vert ramp.
