Foxconn Unveils AI Developments and Innovations at NVIDIA GTC 2025 Conference

Foxconn's Breakthroughs at NVIDIA GTC 2025

On March 18, 2025, Hon Hai Technology Group, commonly known as Foxconn, made a significant impact at the NVIDIA GTC 2025 conference held in San Jose, California. The tech giant presented an array of advancements in humanoid robotics, AI-powered infrastructures for the next generation NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platform, and dynamic digital twins aimed at revolutionizing AI factories of the future.

With a delegation twice the size of last year's attendance, Foxconn participated in six sessions, showcasing its expertise in cutting-edge AI, hybrid caregiving robots, advanced physical AI, and simulation solutions utilizing NVIDIA's Omniverse and Mega Omniverse Blueprint. These innovations aim to foster progress in autonomous driving, smart manufacturing, and digital healthcare.

Young Liu, Foxconn's president, emphasized the company's role in more than just manufacturing advanced AI servers. "You know Foxconn as the largest manufacturer of the world's fastest superchips. But beyond that, we demonstrate how our level one excellence extends to smart cities, intelligent manufacturing, and smart electric vehicles," Liu stated. He led the delegation of over 70 engineers and executives who were thrilled to support NVIDIA and share insights about the evolution of AI technology.

At Booth 323, Foxconn flaunted a new server rack model, the GB300 NVL72, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. This infrastructure not only supports training and inference for large language models (LLMs) but is also crucial for powering the next generation of AI factories. Foxconn's commitment to optimal computing performance has earned them the designation of Pilot Build Request (PBR) partner by NVIDIA. The innovative ecosystem of superchips is enhanced through NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture, supplemented by Ingrasys, Foxconn's subsidiary, specializing in advanced liquid cooling solutions that utilize digital twin simulations to optimize server cooling and data center designs.

Foxconn's smart manufacturing prowess is further foregrounded by its global footprint, complemented by NVIDIA's AI solutions. This includes strategies for video search and summarization (VSS) for security and monitoring operations. Real-time simulations of factory layouts and operational fleets were on display, illustrating how AI fuels real-world scenarios. One pivotal session, titled "How to Use NVIDIA's Omniverse for Smart Factory Design," explored replicating Foxconn's prominent sustainable factories and exporting those solutions for developing future AI factories.

As a Diamond Sponsor, Foxconn also introduced a robotics zone featuring a hybrid robot designed for semiconductor needs. This robot boasts advanced visual recognition and precision mobility. A GTC session titled "Reinventing Smart Manufacturing" detailed how Foxconn is creating and deploying an AI-specialized workforce. At the forefront was the Nurabot, a caregiving robot introduced at GTC, designed to streamline medical workflows and enhance patient care. Set to roll out later this year in partner hospitals in Taiwan, it represents a significant step forward in healthcare innovation.

Another highlight was a session detailing Foxbrain, the first major traditional Chinese language model equipped with reasoning capabilities. It is poised to become a vital engine for upgrading Foxconn's three key platforms: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Electric Vehicles, and Smart Cities.

GTC attendees could also engage with a friendly avatar during the on-demand session, "Improving Road Safety with Generative AI," while receiving a unique chocolate token as a keepsake from Booth 323.

For thorough insights into Foxconn's GTC sessions and innovations, attendees were encouraged to check the event's official webpage.

By presenting its latest developments in AI, robotics, and smart manufacturing, Foxconn has firmly asserted its role as a pioneering force at NVIDIA GTC 2025. With the right partnerships and a commitment to innovation, the company is paving the way for a promising future in technology.
