Paradox PR's Campaign 'Preserving Art in Crisis' Named 2025 SABRE Finalist

Paradox PR's Recognition at the 2025 SABRE Awards

On April 9, 2025, Paradox Public Relations announced its achievement as a finalist in the prestigious 2025 SABRE Awards North America. This recognition celebrates their collaborative efforts with Art Shield and Dom Master Klass in the notable media campaign, 'Preserving Art in Crisis'. The initiative's goal is to elevate the global visibility of Ukrainian artists during turbulent times.

The SABRE Awards, hosted by PRovoke Media, are regarded as the pinnacle in the fields of public relations and communications, recognizing excellence in brand narrative and engagement. This year, campaigns from industry giants such as Deloitte, Coca-Cola, and Walmart were also nominated, making the competition fierce. Paradox, Art Shield, and Dom Master Klass have been nominated in the 'Educational & Cultural Institutions' category for their remarkable work in promoting art amidst crisis.

Davis Richardson, the President of Paradox Public Relations, expressed that the nomination is not merely a recognition of their extensive work across continents but also of the artists who courageously kept Ukraine's cultural landscape alive and visible to the world. He stated, “We worked with Art Shield and Dom Master Klass to achieve results across several continents. A SABRE nomination is a testament to the artists who protect and showcase Ukraine’s cultural heritage, turning their efforts into acts of public diplomacy.”

As a part of the campaign, Paradox, along with its partners, took significant steps to showcase the artistic talents of Ukraine, especially during the Kyiv Art Sessions festival series that occurred in the U.S. and London. The festival presented a vibrant lineup of 27 exceptional Ukrainian artists at the 'Old Sessions House' in London’s Clerkenwell district, drawing attention from top global media outlets, including The New York Times and Art Newspaper. The Ukrainian Ambassador has lauded these festivals as powerful manifestations of the country's unwavering artistic spirit.

Art Shield’s CEO, Edward Akrout, highlighted that cultural preservation is tantamount to safeguarding the very spirit of a nation. He emphasized the importance of this nomination, stating, “This nomination honors the artists risking everything to keep Ukraine's creative spirit alive, reminding the world that cultural heritage is frontline infrastructure.” The Kyiv Art Sessions included an impressive photo series by Ukrainian-American photographer Sasha Maslov, featuring the iconic works of the 'Ukrainian Sixties' painter Oleksandr Dubovyk and live performances by renowned Ukrainian talents, among other artistic showcases that depict the struggle and resilience during conflict.

Evgeni Utkin, founder of Dom Master Klass, noted that the cultural narrative during conflicts reveals humanity's high-stakes battle for survival. He described the current situation in Kyiv as central to this global narrative, stressing that art plays a critical role not just in defining identity but also in building solidarity on a worldwide scale.

As Paradox, Art Shield, and Dom Master Klass prepare for the award ceremony, the buzz surrounding their achievements resonates beyond accolades—it's a poignant reminder of art's enduring ability to reflect societal struggles and inspire change. Through their innovative partnerships and unwavering support, they ensure that the vibrant voices of Ukrainian artists continue to resonate against the backdrop of adversity.

Paradox Public Relations, rooted in strategic communication, advocates for leaders in emerging markets and sectors with a firm commitment to shaping impactful narratives. Similarly, Art Shield, a nonprofit established in 2022, remains focused on preserving cultural heritage amid ongoing conflicts. Dom Master Klass, a cultural institution since 2008, has risen to prominence in Ukraine’s artistic landscape, adeptly merging creative expression with cultural diplomacy.

As they anticipate the SABRE Awards, the collaborative impact of Paradox, Art Shield, and Dom Master Klass serves as an inspiring blueprint for cultural resilience and advocacy in times of crisis.
