Integra Resources and Shoshone-Paiute Tribes Form New Equity Agreement

In a significant step towards collaboration, Integra Resources Corp has announced an equity agreement with the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes. This agreement will see Integra issuing 517,103 common shares valued at $1.5 million to the tribes, reinforcing their partnership in the DeLamar Project. The shares, priced at C$3.97, reflect the closing price on the TSX Venture Exchange prior to the agreement.

The collaboration aims to address mutual interests surrounding the DeLamar Project, which is essential for both Integra and the Shoshone-Paiute. Important to this agreement is the work already done on baseline data collection, tribal monitoring, and the co-development of mine plans. This equity grant serves as a foundation for deeper engagement between both parties, fostering a relationship built on respect and mutual objectives. The leaders from both organizations see this as a pathway to shared benefits and economic growth.

George Salamis, President and CEO of Integra Resources, remarked, “This agreement symbolizes our commitment to a long-term partnership with the Shoshone-Paiute. Our joint efforts are designed to create a project that is well understood and supported by local stakeholders, all while contributing to job creation and regional economic health.”

Similarly, Brian Mason, Chairman of the Shoshone-Paiute, expressed optimism about the future. He stated, “This equity ownership showcases the progress made in our relationship with Integra, allowing us to further our goals for economic independence while respecting our cultural heritage.”

The DeLamar Project is a prominent mining venture located in southwestern Idaho. It holds significant historical context, having been developed with a focus on community engagement and sustainable practices. Integra Resources aims to advance this project responsibly, ensuring it brings long-lasting benefits to local communities and stakeholders. The equity grant plays a vital role in supporting the Shoshone-Paiute’s sustained involvement and interest in the project's success.

As the project progresses, keeping transparency and community support at the forefront remains crucial for Integra. The intention is not only to foster economic development but also to uphold environmental protocols and social governance practices throughout the advancement of the DeLamar Project. This agreement marks a crucial milestone, laying the groundwork for future collaboration between Integra and the Shoshone-Paiute, paving the way for enduring partnerships in resource management and development.

This partnership exemplifies how collaborative efforts can bridge gaps between corporations and native communities, creating a framework that recognizes indigenous values while supporting modern economic endeavors.
