Westwell Launches Innovative Smart and Green Freight Ecosystem in Paris

On July 7, Westwell, a pioneering logistics company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), showcased its advanced logistics solutions at the Logicor Garonor Park in Paris. This event brought together Westwell's partners and clients to witness the unveiling of their innovative advancements in eco-friendly logistics.

The Garonor logistics park, which spans 1,200 square meters, is specifically designed for a variety of distribution and supply chain clients, located conveniently near central Paris. This location served as the perfect backdrop for Westwell's demonstration of its intelligent logistics technologies, including new energy commercial vehicles and autonomous logistics systems.

At the event, Westwell highlighted its flagship product, the Q-Truck, an autonomous electric truck designed for closed-loop scenarios. This vehicle is equipped with advanced technologies such as AI cameras, LiDAR, and various sensors for navigation, positioning, decision-making, and control. The Q-Truck boasts an impressive maximum range of 150 kilometers and can tow up to 75 tons, operating around the clock while significantly reducing CO2 emissions by 50 tons per year per truck.

The Q-Truck's success is far-reaching, with usage in countries including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, and Mexico. To further assist their clients during the transition to autonomous logistics, Westwell has developed the E-Truck, a new energy heavy-duty truck that offers flexibility between manual and autonomous driving modes. This innovative vehicle enables a cost-effective and efficient way for clients to gradually implement autonomous driving technology.

For logistics operations within warehouses and factories, Westwell introduced the Wellbot—a smart logistics robot designed to enhance precision sorting, goods handling, and intelligent warehouse management. Utilizing multi-sensor technology combined with advanced AI, Wellbot offers precise identification of goods, autonomous navigation, and smooth coordination with the Q-Truck, enhancing the freight workflow from truck to dock to warehouse.

Westwell's years of operational experience across various scenarios allow it to leverage supply chain data to unlock competitive advantages. Their advanced smart and connected logistics platform, Loopo, is engineered to revolutionize multimodal transport operations in warehouse and logistics park environments. Built on cutting-edge autonomous driving technology, Loopo provides a comprehensive solution by seamlessly integrating intelligent logistics platforms, automated warehousing systems, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), predictive transport management systems (PTMS), and advanced traffic management systems.

This demonstration was not merely a technological test but a promising global collaboration with significant market expansion potential. The success observed at Logicor's Garonor Park highlights the viability of Westwell's solutions within the European market. Moving forward, Westwell will conduct additional technical validations and collaborate closely with Logicor to promote tailored, efficient, and green smart logistics services aimed at European clients.

Kay Yang, CEO of Westwell Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, noted, “This collaboration with Logicor marks a significant milestone in Westwell's global commercialization journey. By harnessing this new global innovation platform, we aim to accelerate the marketing of our solutions in worldwide markets while strengthening our global service support capabilities.”

Laurent Dubos, Managing Director of Logicor France, added, “We are excited to support Westwell by providing a space where innovative programs can be tested and demonstrated, benefiting our customers who strive to enhance their environmental impact.”

To date, Westwell serves over 200 users across 28 countries and regions, including maritime ports, air freight terminals, manufacturing centers, rail logistics, and cross-border transport operations. The company remains dedicated to contributing to ecological innovations and delivering greater value to large-scale smart logistics users around the globe. Logicor stands as a leading owner, manager, and developer within the European logistics real estate sector, with a portfolio surpassing 19 million square meters of warehousing in key transport hubs and populous areas, supporting more than 2,000 clients.

The collaboration between Westwell and Logicor signifies an important step towards transforming global logistics into a more sustainable practice. Through these pioneering “smart” and “green” technologies, both entities aim to propel the logistics industry into a smarter, more efficient, and sustainable future.
