Huawei Fosters a Global Alliance in Education and Health to Enhance Industrial Ecosystems

Huawei's Global Alliance in Education and Health

On July 16, 2025, Huawei hosted the Global Partner Convention for Education and Healthcare in Shenzhen, China, where it unveiled its Global Education and Healthcare Partner Alliance (GEHPA). The event brought together over 300 partners from across 40 nations, showcasing Huawei's commitment to developing a collaborative ecosystem that enhances the capabilities within the industries of education and health.

The Vision Behind GEHPA

The primary goal of the GEHPA initiative is to bolster communication and cooperation among industry partners. By leveraging the strengths of its partners, Huawei aims to create a framework that is mutually beneficial, fostering an environment that promotes sustainable and high-quality industrial ecosystems. This effort is particularly crucial as both education and health sectors undergo rapid transformation accelerated by advancements in digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Ernest Zhang, the president of Huawei’s Partner Development and Business Distribution unit, stated that the company is dedicated to equipping its partners with innovative tools and exceptional collaborative experiences. This commitment seeks to not only empower partners but also to serve numerous clients globally within education and healthcare sectors.

Collaboration Redefined in the Age of AI

In his remarks, Li Junfeng, Vice President of Huawei, emphasized the pivotal role that education and healthcare play in global digital transformation. He expressed Huawei's eagerness to work alongside partners to develop a robust, friendly, and sustainable global ecosystem. Their approach will involve generating joint solutions, nurturing industrial ecosystems, and innovating cooperation models.

Peter Zhou, another Vice President of Huawei, highlighted the significance of quality data accumulation in the healthcare industry. He proposed four key initiatives to enhance the standardization and management of healthcare data, which include:
1. Promoting standardized healthcare data protocols.
2. Establishing an intelligent diagnostic and treatment data infrastructure across various hospitals.
3. Facilitating the standardized development of data engineering tools and models.
4. Accelerating the creation and adoption of robust AI-driven business models for diagnostics and treatment.

These strategies aim not only to improve operational efficiency within the healthcare sector but also to create a positive feedback loop that drives further innovation and advancement in healthcare delivery systems.

Looking Ahead

Huawei envisions a future where its global partnerships continue to flourish, prioritizing the implementation of groundbreaking technology in the domains of education and health. This vision corresponds with its mission to intuitively respond to dynamic market needs while simultaneously pressing forward with the high-quality development of the GEHPA. By doing so, Huawei aims to significantly contribute to the sustainable growth of global education and healthcare systems.

This initiative marks a substantial step forward as Huawei endeavors to redefine industry pathways within education and healthcare, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and sustainable practices across all levels of operation. As economies and cultures increasingly intertwine, the importance of an agile, responsive industrial ecosystem becomes essential, and Huawei stands at the forefront of this transformation.
