FAW TRUCKS Ready to Make an Impact at IAA Transportation 2026

The 72nd IAA TRANSPORTATION event is poised to take place from September 14 to 20 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. This year, the renowned FAW TRUCKS will take center stage, introducing five vehicle models and an array of essential components under the theme "Engineering the Next Horizon, Delivering the Next Journey."

FAW TRUCKS’s exhibition will illustrate the remarkable 70-year history of the company, tracing its evolution from a small operation to an industry leader. Among the exhibits, attendees can expect to see three impressive models of the CORTRON CS tractor series, available in both diesel and electric configurations. Designed for long-haul transport, the diesel models boast a newly designed generation of components developed internally, achieving a remarkable 15% reduction in fuel consumption. The electric model, meanwhile, leverages an 800V high-voltage platform that supports rapid CCS2 charging up to 1,000A and an optional megawatt charging system. It features a dual-motor electric axle with an impressive transmission efficiency of 94.5%.

In addition to vehicle models, FAW TRUCKS will also showcase nine internally developed key components, which highlight the company's capabilities in developing multiple energy options including conventional fuels, electric battery power, and hydrogen engines. This demonstrates FAW TRUCKS’s commitment to innovative, clean energy solutions.

Situated at Booth B10 in Hall 24, FAW TRUCKS has designed an open exhibition space with four thematic areas: Carbon Emissions Reduction, Zero Emission Solutions, Ecosystem Innovations, and Future Technologies. These areas will focus on advancements in energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction in conventional powertrains, as well as showcasing new energy product portfolios and next-gen intelligent logistics solutions. Each exhibition area features a unique QR code, with detailed product information available on a dedicated microsite, effectively merging on-site experiences with digital enhancements to expand accessibility.

This year, FAW TRUCKS will collaborate with partners such as FAWER, FAWAY, FAWSN, SmartLink, and Zhuoyu Technology. Together, they are reshaping the identity of FAW TRUCKS from a traditional manufacturer to a provider of integrated "products + services + ecosystem" solutions. The goal is to create a platform for deeper engagement with clients and to foster connections within the global industrial ecosystem.
