David Yurman Unveils Its Exquisite New Flagship Store in Miami's Design District

David Yurman, the iconic American luxury jewelry brand, has officially opened the doors to its new flagship store in Miami's Design District, a vibrant and artistic neighborhood known for its cultural flair. This new location not only represents the brand's expansion but also serves as a creative space for both artists and jewelry lovers alike.

The boutique's design is nothing short of a masterpiece, conceived by Evan Yurman, the brand's president and creative director, in collaboration with renowned Italian architect Andrea Tognon and creative consultant Bernadette Blanc. Drawing inspiration from the Yurman family's collection of precious stones and metals, the store encapsulates the artistic essence that defines the brand. "We are thrilled to debut our flagship store in Miami, at the heart of the artistic community," said Evan Yurman. "This space reflects our family's legacy and our shared vision of creating beautiful things that inspire, including our products, the store experience, and the design itself."

Tognon explained the unique approach taken in the store's creation: "We began this project by considering the jewelry itself, cutting into a massive stone volume to merge the split stone with metallic paint. The result is an incredible monolithic vision with a striking street presence." The boutique features a stunning extruded logo that pays homage to the brand's American heritage.

Upon entering the store, visitors are greeted with carefully crafted accessories featuring various stone finishes, simulating beautiful jewelry inlays. An eye-catching, staggered wall made of vertically cut granite pieces curves gracefully, resembling a necklace. Throughout the space, the brand’s signature Cable design pays tribute, highlighted in features like the sculpted handrail at the entrance and a circular display case beneath the staircase.

Located on the second floor is a private salon that overlooks the Design District. This area showcases the brand's collections of men's, women's, and high jewelry, accompanied by an exquisite collection of art pieces and personal items from David Yurman himself. Tognon’s focus on furniture craftsmanship mirrors the deconstruction of elements to envision them in new forms, paralleling how the Cable design is continuously reinvented and integrated into David Yurman’s creations.

The new boutique will feature exclusive styles inspired by Miami's magnetic atmosphere, landscapes, and tropical sunsets. Jewelry pieces boasting bold, semi-precious stones in electric pinks, neon greens, cobalt blues, and fiery oranges embody the city's vitality and excitement. "The retail world is constantly reinventing itself. Our main goal in collaborating with Evan Yurman was to ensure that innovation coexists with the rich tradition of the brand. Together, we aimed to create a classic design space where both new and returning customers can comfortably explore," noted architect Andrea Tognon.

Officially opened on May 1st, 2025, after a preliminary launch on March 20th, the David Yurman flagship store in Miami will be open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM. For further details, visit davidyurman.com.
