This 4-day extravaganza promises visitors a refreshing twist on summer sweets with a delightful free sampling of the innovative combination of Yokumoku’s Cigar and Lotte’s Mini Coolish Vanilla.

Since its launch in 1969, Yokumoku’s Cigar has become a beloved staple among generations of dessert lovers, celebrated for its crispy texture and rich buttery flavor. On the other hand, Coolish offers a refreshing and convenient way to enjoy ice cream, often referred to as “drinkable ice cream,” thanks to its unique, smooth consistency that can be enjoyed with just one hand.

This collaboration stems from a social media phenomenon that began when users shared their experiences of combining these two iconic sweets. By filling the crispy Cigar with the cool, smooth Coolish, the hashtag #YokumokuCoolish began trending, leading to excitement and a strong public response. The BLUE GIFT TRUCK, a mobile sampling truck adorned in glorious blue with iconic Cigar motifs, will also make a return this year. Last year's event drew significant crowds, with approximately 40,000 participants applauding the delicious offerings. This year’s presentation invites everyone in the Shibuya area to celebrate the blissful union of two beloved brands.

The original BLUE GIFT TRUCK debuted last year as part of Yokumoku’s 55th-anniversary celebration, showcasing their signature Cigar products across multiple cities, including Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Hyogo. Following the immense success of the initial tour, the BLUE GIFT TRUCK will continue its journey around Japan, ensuring that more fans can engage with the brand and enjoy their luxurious confectionery treats. From August onward, the truck will launch a nationwide mobile sales initiative, with additional details to follow.
