Blue Sky Uranium Enhances Prospects at Corcovo Project in Argentina
Blue Sky Uranium Corp. has made a notable announcement regarding the expansion of its primary target at the Corcovo Uranium Project, located in Argentina's Mendoza Province. This expansion comes after an extensive review of an additional 104 historical oil and gas wells, which have been integrated into the company's geological model, bolstering the argument for the existence of a substantial uranium mineralized system in the area.
Previously, the company’s analysis was based on 89 drilling sites, and with the new data, the company has established a more robust framework to support its findings regarding uranium equivalent and gamma-ray anomalies within what is known as the Centenario Core Horizon. A detailed uranium equivalent grade-by-thickness map has been created, confirming the presence of significant mineralized zones, which aligns with a roll front style of mineralization and indicates that the northwestern extent of this mineral corridor is still open, offering significant potential for further exploration and expansion.
Nikolaos Cacos, President and CEO of Blue Sky Uranium, expressed enthusiasm about the newly integrated data, believing it enhances their confidence in the system's continuity and scale at Corcovo. He stated,
