Join the VEG FOOD EXPO 2026 for Vegan and Gluten-Free Innovations in Tokyo!

VEG FOOD EXPO 2026: A Hub for Vegan and Gluten-Free Products

From April 15 to April 17, 2026, Tokyo Big Sight will host the 'Premium Food Show', a key exhibition showcasing a wide range of vegan, gluten-free, and halal food products to meet rising demands. This event aims to connect businesses with evolving consumer dietary preferences.

In conjunction with Japan's largest business exhibition for food service, FABEX, which specializes in meal provision for the restaurant industry, the VEG FOOD EXPO is anticipated to attract over 50,000 industry professionals over the three-day event.

Embracing Diverse Dietary Needs

As dietary choices become more diverse, it is crucial for the food industry to address the requirements of individuals who avoid animal-derived products, such as vegans, or those adhering to gluten-free or halal diets. People are increasingly making food choices based on their beliefs, health, and lifestyles. Such diversity emphasizes the growing importance of inclusive dietary options in today's food market.

Special Section: Vegan Selection

At this year's VEG FOOD EXPO, a dedicated area dubbed the 'Vegan Selection' will be established to feature solely vegan products. This area will showcase a variety of plant-based products including vegan meat substitutes, seafood alternatives, dairy-free cheese, ready-to-eat meals, and frozen foods. Alongside the Veg Project Japan's booth that will comprehensively present vegan-certified products, twelve other companies specializing in vegan ingredients will also exhibit their items.

Exciting Seminar with TV Director

On April 17th at 11:00 AM, a seminar titled 'How to Showcase Your Product? Marketing Insights from Vegan Experts and TV Directors’ will take place. This session will dive deep into strategies for effectively marketing products to resonate with consumers and leave a memorable impression. It will be led by Takahiro Shirakawa, a TV director from NHK responsible for news programs, alongside Yoko Kawano, the representative director of the Veg Project Japan.
