To achieve this, Terra Drone has partnered with the Japan Foundation and DeepStar’s joint technical development program, reflecting the company's commitment to innovation in the energy sector and beyond. The DeepStar consortium is widely recognized for its collaboration among major oil and gas companies to drive advancements in marine technology and safety. Through this partnership, Terra Drone integrates real-world operational feedback from its consortium partners, Chevron and Shell, into the development process of the Terra Xross 1.

When the drone loses connection with its controller, this feature automatically engages and commands the drone to navigate back along its flight path, attempting to reconnect and restore communication.
