Cognizant and Snowflake Team Up to Fast-Track Enterprise AI Integration

Accelerating Enterprise AI Adoption

In an era where artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping business landscapes, Cognizant and Snowflake have taken significant strides to foster AI integration across enterprises. Announced during the Snowflake Summit 26, the two tech giants revealed this expanded collaboration aims to accelerate enterprise AI adoption by leveraging the Snowflake CoCo platform. This strategic move simplifies the implementation of intelligent agents across data engineering and analytics, allowing organizations to move from experimental pilots to full-scale production seamlessly.

The Importance of AI Integration

Organizations today face immense pressure to operationalize AI effectively. However, many encounter barriers due to outdated systems, fragmented data environments, and the intricate process of weaving AI into existing workflows. To counter these challenges, Cognizant has developed its AI Builder strategy, which synergizes advanced AI platforms with industry expertise and workflow-centric designs. This solution helps businesses translate their AI investments into measurable outcomes quickly and efficiently.

According to Naveen Sharma, Cognizant's Senior Vice President and Practice Head for AI & Analytics, the aim is to streamline the AI lifecycle extensively. “When the data foundation is AI-ready, and the business context is built in, build cycles collapse,” he explained. Cognizant's commitment to this approach enables clients to achieve production-grade intelligent agents much faster than traditional methods allow.

A Thriving Partnership

The partnership's success is evident in the widespread adoption of the CoCo platform among Cognizant's AI & Analytics teams. CoCo has witnessed remarkable growth, with over 2,250 users and the practical application of more than 30 enterprise use cases. Furthermore, Cognizant has rolled out 12+ custom CoCo skills and over 90 revenue-ready accelerators, fielding over 1.3 million AI-driven requests. This trend signifies a robust and ongoing enterprise commitment to AI solutions at scale.

Real-World Impact: A+E Global Media

The collaboration has already yielded significant results, particularly for A+E Global Media. Utilizing a conversational analytics agent powered by Snowflake CoCo, Cognizant transformed their Creative Airing Logs workflow. This innovative solution automated what was previously a manual, multi-step analytics process.

In addition, the Cortex agent has notably improved operational efficiency, saving the company around 200 hours of manual labor while simultaneously reducing costs and enhancing decision-making speed. These outcomes illustrate the tangible benefits that AI integration can deliver.

Bruno Sathyan, VP of Corporate Application Engineering & Enterprise Data at A+E Global Media, expressed praise for the partnership, stating that accessing data through Snowflake's AI-native cloud platform has empowered their teams to function more effectively.

Looking Ahead

Beyond A+E Global Media, Cognizant intends to broaden its range of CoCo-enabled applications across various domains, including analytics, contract intelligence, and compliance automation. Notable outcomes so far include a staggering 70% reduction in effort for a leading global biopharma company, substantial annual savings for a sports-and-entertainment firm, and a remarkable 99% decrease in change analysis time for a North American telecom provider.

As Cognizant continues to invest in industry-specific CoCo capabilities and pre-built agent templates, their goal is clear: to support enterprises in scaling their AI-driven initiatives on a proven foundation. The fruitful collaboration with Snowflake marks a pivotal step in this ongoing journey, ensuring that businesses can not only embrace AI but also achieve genuine, impactful results.
