Suncadia Social: The New Heart of the Community
Suncadia, a premier resort located in the scenic Pacific Northwest, is set to unveil
Suncadia Social, a vibrant new retail village and community gathering spot. The grand opening celebration, scheduled for
June 19-21, 2026, promises an unforgettable weekend filled with excitement, as the resort marks a new chapter in its 25-year legacy of hospitality and community engagement.
A Celebration of Community and Growth
During this special event, guests, local residents, business leaders, and media representatives will come together to commemorate the launch of Suncadia Social, an ambitious $18 million mixed-use development that aims to redefine the social landscape of the area. This new destination is part of a larger
$40 million investment initiative to enhance the overall community experience and encourage local collaboration.
The highlight of the opening weekend will feature a
performance by Antwane Tyler, a regional country music sensation, who is set to entertain attendees with a free concert on Saturday, June 20. This celebration not only marks the physical opening of Suncadia Social but symbolizes the ongoing evolution of the community and its commitment to fostering connections.
Thoughtfully Designed Space
Suncadia Social spans an impressive
11 acres adjacent to The Lodge at Suncadia. The development has been led by Managing Director
Mark Thorne and Chief Development Officer
Tucker Stevens, who have crafted a vision that emphasizes the principles of
New Urbanism. The space integrates residential living with dynamic retail and dining offerings, promoting community interaction and walkability.
The architectural beauty of Suncadia Social has been brought to life by the award-winning
Heliotrope Architects, who defined the aesthetic character, while
Scout Lake Construction managed the building processes.
Northwest Roots Construction, a local builder, has created
42 bungalows and rowhomes, designed to foster neighborhood connections.
Retail and Dining Experiences
Suncadia Social will house
Roslyn Grocery, now in its new
5,000-square-foot flagship location, led by owner
Amanda Heins. The grocery store will offer a diverse selection of fresh local produce, artisanal baked goods, and a dedicated space for community events and cooking demonstrations.
In addition to Roslyn Grocery, the destination will host a carefully curated mix of retailers and dining venues:
- - Out West Trading Company: Featured outdoor-inspired apparel and lifestyle goods reflecting the local landscape.
- - Cutters Point Coffee: A cozy café serving delicious Pacific Northwest craft coffees.
- - Forage Home: A boutique dedicated to home and lifestyle products that highlight regional craftsmanship.
- - G.H. Pasta & Pizza and Eldr.: Two exciting new culinary concepts from Chef/Owner Brian Clevenger, expected to open later this summer.
These offerings exemplify Suncadia's dedication to creating a community-centric destination that caters to both residents and visitors, merging local culture with elevated hospitality.
