LiberCraft to Host Advanced AI Training Program for SMEs in Okayama Prefecture

LiberCraft Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo and led by CEO Daigo Miyoshi, has announced its commitment to organizing and managing the 'Okayama Advanced AI Project.' This free training program, spearheaded by Okayama Prefecture, intends to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Starting from September 18, 2026, until February 26, 2027, a series of seven sessions will be conducted every Friday, with no participation fee required. Interested companies can apply until September 11, 2026.

This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive training program in generating AI, specifically tailored for SME growth in Okayama Prefecture. The program will last for half a year, focusing on collaborative learning between manufacturing and IT companies. Participants will explore the broad scope of generative AI and identify opportunities for their businesses. By creating applications and improving accuracy, the goal is to enable companies to devise effective plans and facilitate synergy.

'Dify' is an innovative no-code development tool enabling teams to create custom business-oriented apps. Built around the framework of ChatGPT, it offers flexibility, allowing users to choose from a variety of large language models (LLMs) without being confined to specific services.

Capabilities of Dify:

- AI Application Creation: Participants can easily craft applications to automate responses such as chatbots or summary tools for daily reports and meeting minutes, purely through user-friendly interface.
- Utilizing Internal Data/RAG: By inputting manuals and previous documents into AI, users can develop a system where they can ask anything about their business.
- AI Agent & Task Automation: Dify allows the establishment of AI-driven systems that can undertake multi-step tasks like drafting documents and creating routine reports.

Training Schedule (All sessions from 14:00 to 17:00)

- Session 1 & 2 (September 18, 2026 / October 16, 2026): Understanding the overall model of generative AI/RAG and its applications within the company.
- Session 3 & 4 (November 13, 2026 / December 11, 2026): Fundamentals of RAG structure (Embedding/Retrieval/Re-ranking), accuracy evaluation, and hands-on experience using AI agents.
- Session 5 & 6 (January 15, 2027 / February 12, 2027): Designing proposals for AI/DX implementation while engaging various teams for collaborative presentations.
- Session 7 (February 26, 2027): Participants will present their AI initiatives and partnership results, sharing valuable lessons learned and identifying the next steps for growth.

Additional Details

Location: All sessions (1-6) will be held at Central Forest 8F, Okayama City, while the final session will take place at Okayama University.

Target Audience: Local SMEs in Okayama, specifically core manufacturing companies (up to 20 participants) and a few IT solution firms.

Cost: Free of charge.

Application Guidelines: Interested companies must exhibit a commitment to active participation and willingness to share outcomes. An oath concerning intellectual property confidentiality will be required.
