EV INNOVATOR, operated by Sky Innovator Co., Ltd., has initiated a new project to recruit venues for test drives and exhibits of the e-NEO, a three-passenger electric vehicle (EV) developed in Shibuya. The project aims to broaden the experience of seeing, touching, and riding the e-NEO across more locations in the Kanto metropolitan area.

The e-NEO has previously only been showcased at Shibuya’s Matsutō Garage, but now, as the demand arises from voices like, “We want this innovative mobility option in our town too!”, the team is actively seeking diverse venue partners, including facilities, commercial spaces, and local governments.

Urban Mobility Revolution from Shibuya

The e-NEO was designed to address urban challenges such as parking, congestion, and fuel costs, bringing a unique solution with its three-passenger sidecar configuration. Positioning itself between a lightweight vehicle and a motorcycle, the e-NEO has gained attention on social media and media outlets, particularly around Shibuya, Daikanyama, and Ebisu. With the philosophy of being able to move lightly and naturally in city environments, this innovative mobility solution is rapidly becoming popular for daily activities like commuting, running errands, and leisure. The ongoing project strives to share this new Shibuya-born mobility culture with nearby urban settings.

Seeking Venue Partners for Collaborative Events

The venues desired for this project include:

- Commercial facilities such as shopping malls, outlets, and complex buildings.
- Large bookstores, home improvement centers, and places with garage spaces.
- Road stations or events organized by local governments and tourism associations.
- Local event committees, shopping districts, and community-initiated gatherings.

Each venue will require an exhibit space of approximately 5m x 3m, with flexible participation costs ranging from free to sponsorship models. EV INNOVATOR will handle all aspects of test drives and safety management. Events are anticipated to run from 1 to 3 days, primarily on weekends and holidays, with the possibility of discussions on scheduling.

Participating venues will be acknowledged as partners through the official EV INNOVATOR website, social media, and press releases, thereby gaining notable publicity.

The targeted area for this initiative includes the Kanto metropolitan region, primarily focusing on Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama. The project timeline is as follows:
