Flywheel Relocates Headquarters to Iidabashi
株式会社フライウィール, led by CEO 直人横山, has officially announced the relocation of its headquarters to Iidabashi, Tokyo, starting from October 1, 2025. This move comes as part of their strategy to expand operations and foster organization growth, particularly in providing innovative solutions to complex data challenges for their clients.
New Office Overview
The new office is located at 3-10-10 Iidabashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, on the 31st floor of the Garden Air Tower. It is strategically accessible via several metro lines, making it convenient for employees and clients alike. The office's capacity includes a versatile event space capable of accommodating approximately 100 personnel, facilitating corporate events and enhancing internal communications.
Reasons Behind the Move
The expansion comes as a response to the swift growth of Flywheel's business, particularly its data utilization platform, Conata®. As the company has expanded, the previous office space no longer met the needs of its growing team. The move is designed to create an environment that promotes comfort and fosters communication, essential for driving further growth and innovation.
Vision for the New Office: A Hub for Learning and Co-creation
The office has been designed as a space for learning and collaboration, aimed at nurturing a sense of unity among employees. It is believed that breakthroughs in addressing customers' complex issues arise from spontaneous discussions and collaboration among professionals with diverse skill sets.
- - Creating a Sense of Unity: The previous office did not allow for full-team gatherings, but the new venue features an ample event area for company-wide meetings and internal events, fostering a shared vision.
- - Enhancing Interdepartmental Communication: By creating a collaborative environment, the team aims to dismantle departmental silos. Specific days have been designated to encourage inter-team connections and dialogues to spark innovative ideas.
- - Supporting Diverse Workstyles: Various spaces have been established, such as seminar rooms, focus booths, and refreshment areas, ensuring that employees can select their work environment according to their needs and preferences.
CEO Naoto Yokoyama’s Remarks
In his statement, CEO 横山 expressed gratitude to the clients and partners who facilitated this move. Reflecting on the company’s journey from a small apartment with malfunctioning air conditioning to their upcoming new headquarters, he emphasized the mission to empower businesses through data.
Yokoyama reminisced about conversations with clients who expressed their struggles with data analysis, driving Flywheel’s inception from a desire to empower such businesses with the right solutions. As the company continues its journey towards elevating data utility in Japan, he remains optimistic about their future growth and the ability to transform the business landscapes of their clients.
Future Outlook: Enhancing Data Utilization in Japanese Enterprises
Flywheel views this transition not just as a change of physical location, but as a significant opportunity to deepen their engagement with clients and help unlock data potential. The new office is designed to accommodate future needs as the organization grows, allowing for a workforce that could eventually expand to 200-300 employees.
By leveraging flexible work styles and the resources made available in the new space, Flywheel aims to extend their impact and deliver enhanced value to their clients.
