Kirishima Shuzo Unveils a Unique Culinary Showcase in New York City
This October, Kirishima Shuzo Co., Ltd., renowned as Japan’s premier distiller of shochu, is bringing a slice of Japanese culture to the United States with an exclusive event titled "Sushi x Japan's Top 'Shochu' Experience - KIRISHIMA NIGHT." This exciting occasion will run from October 23 to October 25 and again from October 30 to November 1, 2025, all hosted at the acclaimed TsuruTonTan Midtown in New York City.
The Essence of Honkaku Shochu
Kirishima Shuzo has cultivated its reputation by producing the highest quality shochu, a traditional Japanese distilled spirit, for over 13 years, topping the sales charts in Japan. This event aims to showcase the distinct characteristics of "honkaku shochu" or authentic distilled spirit, reflecting the richness of Japanese craftsmanship in distillation.
During the event, guests will have the opportunity to savor an exclusive shochu and sake-pairing menu available at a special price of just $24.99 per person for the first 24 reservations each day. In addition, the bar will be serving specially crafted shochu cocktails at a reduced price of $8.
A Culinary Pairing Experience
Guests can expect to enjoy two signature varieties of shochu from Kirishima Shuzo: Kuro Kirishima, known for its smooth sweetness and refreshing aftertaste, and KIRISHIMA No.8, which delights the palate with fruity notes akin to muscat and mandarin oranges.
